Sotirios Pililis is a pathologist with a specialization in Diabetes Mellitus and graduated from the Medical School of the National University of Athens in 2007 with a degree of Very Good.
From November 2007 to November 2008, he served his military service as a physician at the Naval Hospital of Athens (NNA) and the Naval Hospital of Salamis (NNS).
From 2009 to 2010 he served in the field service with a secondment to the General Hospital of Corinth.
From 2010 to 2011 he worked in the Pathology Clinic at the Metropolitan Hospital. In 2011 he was appointed to the 2nd General Hospital as a resident physician and in 2015 he received the title of Internal Pathology specialist. From 2016 to the present he has been serving at the 2nd General Hospital as an Academic Fellow in Pathology-Diabetes with clinical, research and teaching work. Since 2016 he has maintained a private practice.
In 2022, he received specialization in Diabetology.
