Doctor Nikolopoulos Petros graduated from the Medical School of the University of Timisoara with a grade of "excellent" in 1996. He completed his military service in 1999 and subsequently fulfilled his field service at the barren Regional Clinic of Ramia, under the jurisdiction of the General Hospital of Agnant, General Hospital of Arta. In 2000 - 2002 he served as a resident physician in Pathology at the General Hospital of Arta. From October 2002 to October 2006, he specialized in Nephrology at the University General Hospital of Ioannina. In January 2007 he obtained the title of medical specialty in Nephrology. He worked as an assistant Nephrologist at the Nephrology Clinic of the General Hospital "Asklipieio" of Voula and then at the General Hospital of Syros where in September 2009 he was appointed as a supervisor of Nephrology A. In September 2019, after a development in the field of E.S.Y. Doctors, he serves at the rank of Director of Nephrology. Since May 2018, he has been working at the P.G.N. "Attikon" hospital, in the 2nd Preparatory Pathology Clinic, in the Nephrology Department. His duties include monitoring patients with chronic kidney disease and hemodialysis patients, teaching students and resident doctors, research and participation in clinical studies. He has a particular academic and clinical interest in interventional Nephrology. He participates in the writing of articles that have been published in internationally recognized journals with a high impact index. He is a member of the Nephrology societies in Greece and Europe. In September 2023, he was elected to the Scientific Council of the Attikon General Hospital.
