Maria Krania graduated from the Medical School of the University of Athens. From 2007 to 2009, she completed her training as a resident in Internal Medicine at the 1st Department of Internal Medicine of the Evangelismos General Hospital. From 2009 to 2013, she completed her training as a resident in Endocrinology at the Endocrinology Unit of the 2nd Department of Internal Medicine at the Attikon General Hospital, from where she received her specialty title in Endocrinology. Since 2019, she has been working as a 2nd National Health Service Endocrinology Curator at the Endocrinology Unit of the 2nd Department of Internal Medicine of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens at the Attikon General Hospital.
Her clinical work focuses on the monitoring of patients with a wide range of endocrine problems at the outpatient level (endocrinology, osteoporosis and metabolic bone diseases). Her educational work includes the training of Medical School students in Pathology (3rd -4th -5th year), and of Endocrinology residents. She is a member of the Hellenic Endocrinological Society with active participation in its scientific events.
