1. Training of Medical School Students (10th, 11th, and 12th Semesters) in Internal Medicine for a Period of 3 Months (13-15 Students per Quarter):

• Teaching takes place in the patient wards, where students are responsible for monitoring medical cases (history taking, clinical examination, scheduling patients) under supervision.
• Students participate in auditorium lectures, presentations, and discussions of clinical cases, actively engaging in case discussions across the full spectrum of Internal Medicine, including special sections such as gastroenterology, hematology, nephrology, oncology, and endocrinology.
• Students also participate in duties and rotational monitoring of activities in all sections of the clinic mentioned above.

2. Training of Medical School Students (4th Year, 7th Semester) in Pathology (55 Students per Semester):

• Students engage in clinical practice in patient wards.
• They attend lectures in the amphitheater covering the full theory of Internal Medicine.
• Clinical tutoring takes place in the auditorium with an interactive component, where students analyze specific medical cases via PowerPoint presentations, which they receive a week in advance for preparation.
• Students screen audiovisual material on objective examination by systems in a specially equipped room, with an instructor providing explanations.
• Peer examination exercises take place in a specially designed room, allowing students to gain experience in normal clinical examination.

3. Training of 3rd Year Medical School Students (6th Semester) in Semiology-Nosology Course (55 Students per Semester):

• Students engage in clinical practice in patient wards.
• They attend lectures in the auditorium covering the theory of Special Nosology.
• Clinical tutoring takes place in the auditorium with an interactive component, where specific groups of students analyze clinical cases, with PowerPoint presentations and commentary prepared in advance (one week).
• Audiovisual material is projected for all chapters of the objective examination in a specially equipped room, with an instructor providing explanations.
• Peer examination exercises take place in a specially designed room, allowing students to gain experience in normal clinical examination.

4. Training of Students from Exchange Programs:
   • Students participating in exchange programs receive similar training in patient wards, clinical tutoring, and lectures in Internal Medicine as outlined above. They also engage in case discussions and participate in rotational monitoring across different clinic sections, according to the program specifics and their semester level.
   Training of International Students of the Medical School of Athens:
   • International students enrolled at the Medical School of Athens participate in similar training programs as local students. This includes clinical practice in the patient wards, participation in lectures, clinical tutorials, and case discussions. These students integrate into the various clinic sections and rotate through specialized departments in accordance with their academic program and semester level.
   Training of Nursing Students from the Department of Nursing at NKUA in the Internal Medicine Course (10 Students per Year):
   • Students engage in clinical practice in the patient wards.
